Thor: Love and Thunder
🎬 Movie
Review
I loved Thor: Ragnarok, so I was left a bit disappointed by this film as it didn't live up to my expectations.
Taika's humor in this one was definitely there, but many times I felt that the incessant barrage of jokes was taking away from the more serious moments and the plot in general.
I really enjoyed Christian Bale's performance as Gorr, but the villain himself was simply not present for most of the movie. When he was present, he just stabs a sword in the ground and exits the scene. For a "God Butcher" I expected him to do more than kill the single god in his introduction.
It was pretty neat to see Thor exercising some powers that Odin previously wielded.
Natalie Portman reprising her role as Jane Foster was awesome to see and I am still gonna hold out some hope for her to return again...
Other than that, excited to see Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent from Ted Lasso 😲) in the MCU!
